DLI Class #9 Review – Investment Analysis & Public Speaking

The DLI 2017-2018 class is just a few months away from graduation! This month we learned practical and valuable lessons from former North Las Vegas Mayor and current developer and broker, Mike Montandon.

As a seasoned speaker in both the private and public sector, Mike’s first topic was public speaking. Based on his own education and experience, Mike covered five critical elements to successful public speaking. My favorite takeaway was his advice to “never have a statistic without a story and never have a story without a statistic.”

Mike’s second topic was investment analysis. After explaining the pyramid model of investing, he discussed risk versus reward and real estate investment before ending with a real life case study.
