1.    How has NAIOP helped you develop new business?
I greatly enjoy the opportunity to put faces to names and getting to know NAIOP membership on a more personal level. This, in turn, has allowed me to better understand the perspectives and needs of our clients and partners.

2.    I am a NAIOP member because…
NAIOP is the premier organization in Las Vegas for anyone who is in any field connected to development and construction.  Everyone who is anyone in the industry can be found right here.

3.    How did you first get into the industry?
Growing up in the Pacific NW, the great outdoors always had a big impact on my life. Civil and Environmental engineering have always been a passion of mine. I studied Civil Engineering at the University of Portland in Oregon and pursued Environmental Policy at Bard College in New York. I interned with the Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management Engineering divisions during my academic career. In 2012 I began working in Portland at a small engineering firm and gained a lot of valuable foundational experience in the private sector. In 2013 my husband and I relocated to Las Vegas and I was fortunate to find a job with Kimley-Horn and continue to grow my career. It’s been an amazing adventure and I’m looking forward to what the future has in store!

4.    What person, living or dead, would you most like to meet?
I want to tap dance with Fred Astaire.

5.    When you were a kid what did you want to be?
When I was a kid I wanted to be a Paleontologist…I still love learning about Dinosaurs!
