Where are you originally from and how long have you lived in Las Vegas: I am originally from Minnesota and have been in Las Vegas since 1987.

What has NAIOP provided you that has helped you grow professionally or personally? This Chapter and its members represent the movers and shakers of the built environment in our Industry. The 3-decade relationship with those members have shaped and molded not just my practice, but the very way we do business in Southern Nevada. Grounded in the principles of stewardship, fairness, and community service, we would not be nearly the success we’ve been had it not been our involvement in NAIOP.

What has been your favorite experience or story that happened at a NAIOP event? Receiving the NAIOP Architecture Firm of the Year Spotlight Award in 2018 and again this year was a highlight to be sure. Going on stage with my entire office was a testament of our commitment to an association that has meant so much to us a member firm.

Who have you met at a NAIOP event who has influenced you or that you have become close friends with? That list is too long for this page, so suffice it to say I am friends with nearly the entire membership and they have all influenced me for the better in their own special way!

What do you want your legacy to be in the Southern Nevada community? That we did our part in contributing to the commercial built environment on behalf of our clients and we did artfully, responsibly and sustainably, benefiting the Southern Nevada community and economy in which our members live and work!
