Where are you originally from and how long have you lived in Las Vegas? I am very proud to say that I was born and raised in Las Vegas and love raising my family here.

What has NAIOP provided you that has helped you grow professionally or personally? Being a member of NAIOP has helped me develop relationships and meet people that I consider mentors and experts in their field who I can learn and grow from.

What has been your favorite experience or story that happened at a NAIOP event? My favorite NAIOP event was when I attended my first breakfast as a new member. I enjoyed the feeling of knowing that these people are here to help and support me in this industry. Several NAIOP members have gone out of their way to make me feel welcome.

Who have you met at a NAIOP event that has influenced you or that you have become close friends with? Matt Hoyt has been very helpful and friendly to me as a new member. He has taken the time to talk to be about the different committees and which ones he thought would suite me best.

What do you want your legacy to be in the Southern Nevada community? I would like to leave a legacy in the Southern Nevada community as a recognized leader who promotes development practices that are environmentally and socially responsible. I am also passionate about teaching others about the many benefits of living more sustainably.

Where are you originally from and how long have you lived in Las Vegas?
I am originally from Hesperia, California and I’ve lived in Las Vegas for the last 25 years.

What has NAIOP provided you that has helped you grow professionally or personally?
NAIOP has been pivotal in providing opportunities and engagements with other people in my field. The networking and resource base not only expands my business development opportunities, but overall, has strengthened my knowledge on the Valley and all the players and places that are developing in our area.

What has been your favorite experience or story that happened at a NAIOP event?
My favorite NAIOP story involves our Office Manager, Nancy Cruz. One of Revolution Engineering’s values is to give back to the community. When she joined the community service committee, we had no idea that the very next meeting was a donation effort for Las Vegas’ homeless community.  Sometimes memberships can be daunting and not very fruitful, but right out of the gate, NAIOP facilitated an event that is aligned with our mission and allowed us, as professionals to incorporate helping, which is important to us personally.

Who have you met at a NAIOP event that has influenced you or that you have become close friends with?
I first became introduced to NAIOP through a relationship I had at my local gym.  Meeting Cassie Catania-Hsu has changed my direction and our involvement with the organization.  She has influenced me tremendously.  Her recommendation to join NAIOP and her description as to what the benefits are, were not only met, but also exceeded.  Befriending Cassie has developed into real estate purchases for the business, membership and involvement by some of our team members and overall positivity and laughs from a new budding friendship.

What do you want your legacy to be in the Southern Nevada community?
Wow! What a question!?! My legacy? To be the Mohammed Ali of Engineers! We are some of the most skilled MEP engineers in the industry and we want to be known for our talent, but also our convictions and passion.  My legacy, hopefully, will be that I wanted to do something different and succeeded by committing Revolution Engineering to projects and partnerships that foster hassle-free experiences, education and community give-back.
