COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE

The mission of Community Service Committee is to identify, plan, promote, initiate, and serve the needs of the local community in order to make a meaningful difference, and affect change to improve the quality of life of Nevada families and children.   The committee and NAIOP membership efforts aid in providing food, clothing, and sundries to homeless teens, individuals and families, and senior citizens, providing resources and educational tools for at-risk youth and resources and pantry provisions for medically fragile children.

Committee participation provides an environment for collaboration, networking, building friendships, community connection, leadership opportunities, professional development, community advocacy and engagement, promoting local causes as well as the NAIOP brand, and valuable partnerships with our members.  Over the years, the committee and membership have provided volunteer support, manpower, renovations and financial resources for local community outreach programs, and non-profit charities and organizations including CASA Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Make-A-Wish, Street Teens, Helping Hands, St. Jude’s Ranch, Communities in Schools, Hollingsworth Elementary, and Catholic Workers.
