The Government Affairs Committee is dedicated to advocating for public policies that support the responsible development of commercial real estate. Our mission includes connecting our skilled members with community leaders to offer resources and expertise that benefit both the industry and the community. We also educate members about changes in laws and regulations, support elected officials who back our industry, and share real-time information with leadership on emerging issues. We support local and state economic development agencies, advocate for the release of federal lands for development, and push for incentives that drive demand for commercial real estate and job creation. We also cooperate with NAIOP Corporate on federal issues and engage with trade organizations as needed.
