The 25th Annual NAIOP Southern Nevada Golf Tournament was held on May 11, 2017 at the Reflection Bay Golf Course and a huge success! With more than 150 NAIOP members and their guests in attendance, everyone enjoyed a fabulous day of golfing, refreshments, food and sponsorship tee entertainment. Whether dancing it up with the DJ or picture taking in the jungle, fun was had by all. The day started with breakfast and the now famous Bloody Mary Bar to the ever-strenuous pregame chipping contest putting our golfer’s skills to the test at 63 yards. Who knew it would be that challenging? We did have one winner closest to the pin, Phil Ralston of American Nevada Company. Golfers then enjoyed 18 holes of golf surrounded by the peace and serenity of birds chirping, blue skies and lake views while in the distance hearing “I like big …” playing in the background, you get the picture. After a torturous round of golf, on a beautiful Thursday, work day for the common folk, a barbecue lunch was served followed by the awards ceremony.  Click here to check out the event photos.

Fundraising! One of our goals of the tournament is to raise funds to benefit our Government Affairs Activities. With all the fabulous raffle prize donations we received from our amazing membership, we raised $8,790 from Raffle and Mulligan sales, $930 from the Dice Game and the Putting Contest (50/50 split) totaled $510 with winners Tracy Hammer, VanTrust Real Estate LLC and Jim Slack, Fidelity National Commercial Services splitting the pot.
