Community Service Committee Update – October

It’s been a pretty low-key September, but we had a great time at the Candlelighter’s 5K Superhero run. The rain didn’t stop the dedicated from donning their Superhero attire and showing their support to assist the battle against childhood cancer. Thank you for everyone’s support and to Spiderman who is a faithful Team NAIOP participant! Click here for event photo.

October is around the corner and we are holding a food and paper goods drive to benefit Helping Hands of Vegas Valley as they assist low-income seniors before the holidays. Please bring your donations to the October 19th Breakfast meeting at the Orleans. Click here for details, donation list and signs for hosting your own in-office drive.

In November, the Committee will hold a Thanksgiving Angel Basket food drive and basket assembly event. Contact me if you are interested in volunteering at this great family service opportunity!

On Thursday, December 14th, we’ll hold our annual toy drive at the Members Only Holiday Lunch at the Four Seasons – save-the-date today to bring a new, unwrapped toys to benefit CASA Foundation of Las Vegas who help children in foster care in Clark County.
