A small 50kW DC roof mounted solar array will produce an estimated 87,041kWh which would offset $7,000 in energy costs and 96,267lbs of CO2 emissions in the first year. This is the same amount of CO2 that would be offset by 498 fully matured trees*.

Over a period of 25 years the same 50kW array would produce an estimated 2,000,000kWh which would save $200,000 in energy costs and would offset over 2.2 Million pounds of CO2 emissions.

*2010 EPA study shows 1kWh of electricity produced from fossil fuel plants creates 1.106lbs of CO2 emissions. The Department of Energy calculates a 30 year old mature pine tree absorbs 193lbs of CO2 per year.

Every market has a sweet spot. It is a size range of product (industrial in this case) which tends to get the most lease activity, year after year. Depending on local, regional, and sometimes national needs – as well as location, size, and type of market, that sweet spot can range wildly in size. As […]

Second, remember to bring cash for raffle tickets at the Bowling Tournament. The prizes are bigger and better this year and all proceeds will go to organizations that we currently assist. Read more

The past three years of development in the Southwest part of the Valley have been incredible and unprecedented to say the least as just five short years ago the market was still in the depths of the recession.  Not many had any confidence that the market would ever come back as most projects were mothballed and there was no light to be seen for new development.  A couple of years later, confidence in the area was on the rise and sunshine was starting to peak through the clouds.  This new found activity was three fold, and the main reason for the success was a return to the fundamental reason of location.  The Southwest was the best location for new development due to 1.) The infrastructure of the Beltway 2.) Its proximity to the resort corridor and McCarran International Airport and 3.) Its geographic location between the two largest Master Planned communities of Green Valley/Anthem and Summerlin. Read more

May 2017 Industrial/office building sales are impressive, too! No doubt about it, big box industrial is what’s happening. It’s sexy, exciting, all our larger national retailers and e-commerce companies are doing it, and it’s accounting for a large majority of leased space in the Las Vegas Valley. If we include what’s currently planned and under […]
